SHU UEMURA I BONSAI

⁠As part of our ongoing collaboration to create social media content for Shu. We work closely with the different artists to create cutting edge creative makeup designs. Often collaborating with other great artists and try to convey the Japanese essence of Shu.

We created this special film to celebrate earth day, combining nature, art and humanity. Working with Shu Uemura’s chief makeup artist Asano, and collaborating with the talented Teppei Kojima of Tradmans Bonsai, we created this bonsai art for the 2022 earth day 🌱

International chief makeup artist Asano-san used chromatics “stone neutrals”, a beautiful bonsai work from Kojima-san was integrated into the models hair, the roots becoming part of her body. With music from @LLLL：フォーエル and stunning hair from TAKA Nukui, on our beautiful model ー 咲 ー SaKU
